We all get them, some more than others but really, what’s the best way to get rid of unwanted blemishes, or even prevent them in the first place?
We have put together our best tips to help get rid of those unwanted blemishes.
- Drink at least 2 litres of water a day (keep your body detoxed and skin hydrated).
- Dab a little toothpaste or tea tree oil your spots before you go to sleep, this helps to dry them up, for a lot of people.
- Find a cream / lotion suitable for your skin, there are lots on the market and there will be one to help dry up blemishes that is suitable for you.
- Let your skin breathe, try to wear hardly any foundation or concealer as it will clog your skin. If you need to wear some for work or that special occasion use an oil free product.
- Get some fresh, clean air, go outside and let your skin breath.
- Use a face mask or face pack regularly, choose one that best suits your skin type.
- Steam your face regularly, this is not only relaxing but will help open your pores and loosen grime. Splash cold water on after to tighten the pores and feel refreshed.
- Clip long hair back, try to keep your hair off your face as it will stop your skin breathing and dirt and oil from your hair can clog those pores.
- Try not to rub, squeeze or pick those blemishes, you will make them worse!
- Eat healthily, plenty of fresh fruit and get plenty of sleep.
