GlamourPussWe all want to look our best and we have different looks for every occasion. Its not easy to look stylish, classy and sexy but it can be achieved if you avoid mistakes that others have made before us.

Here are our tips for looking good:

  • Never wear black under white! Wearing a black bra or thong under a white top or skirt/bottoms is a sure way to ruin the stylish look you are going for – so ensure you have white lingerie to hand!
  • Don’t over accessorise. Never wear too many matching (or worse still non matching) items. Pick a nice plain simple yet stylish pair of earrings for the daytime and then for nighttime, go simple and stylish again. You should avoid having more than one neck chain and rings need caution – too many and it can look messy.
  • Never have too much Flesh on display. Men are a hard lot to please, too little they lose interest, too much and they assume you are homeless and need a place to stay for the night and will pester you to spend it at their place. Just bear in mind if you need to get some flesh out then make sure it’s nicely shaved / waxed / smooth, wrinkle, blemish and spot free and of course tanned is a bonus.
  • Check your skirt length. Really just how short is short? Well if you have to tug it down or have to be careful whom you sit across from then it’s probably too short! As we’re not teenagers anymore, stay classy and keep your skirt to a sensible length.
  • Don’t be too casual and laid back. There is a line between looking cool and untidy and it can be a very fine one at times, sure people around you pull it off all day long but can you ? Not everyone can so be very careful about going for the casual or distressed look as you could look plain untidy and grubby which isn’t the aim so think long and hard before going out … “do I look too casual” if you aren’t sure then you probably do.
  • Is it too small or too tight? Don’t squeeze into those jeans that are too small, a man won’t know what size it is but he’ll sure notice any spillage or bulges so go larger and pick clothes that fit, accentuate a good figure but don’t create lumps and bumps where there is no need.
  • What colours are you wearing? Wearing the wrong colours is so easy to do, what suits one person doesn’t suit another so whilst the girl in the catalogue or shop window may look fantastic the same outfit might not suit you, your skin tone has as much influence on what will suit you as your hair does so experiment with different colour combinations and work out a palette of safe colours for you with your friends input.
  • Check your nails. Chipped, dirty, broken nails are obvious and don’t think men won’t notice because they do, they won’t say anything but why not make sure they are good to go in the first place, other nail problems include 3 inch talons, fluorescent colours and nail art, most guys just like to see nice plain simple nails, not too long or short with a nice French manicure, nothing too fancy, Don’t forget toe nails too if you are wearing anything that shows them off.
  • Check your makeup. Makeup is an important factor in the way we look, but how many times a day do you see someone and think “what was she thinking” just as you wear different clothes and do different things your make up should change and evolve over time too. You should aim for a clean, subtle look using at least foundation to cover any facial blemishes, mascara, blusher and a clear powder, your eye makeup should by trying to draw attention to your eyes but not by making them look like peacocks tails around them so go easy on the colour range.
  • Check your roots. Hair can make or break a look, and roots are the weak link in that equation as no matter what you do to the style, how you wear it, the roots are there to see, regular colouring isn’t cheap but it is worth it, just be sure to pick a colour that matches your skin tone and ask friends about how it looks rather than just relying on how good you think you look in it, are you always right?

Follow these tips and you will always look your best and not a fashion disaster!
