There’s more to shoes than you think!
Your choice of shoes can make or ruin your outfit – cheap shoes aren’t always wrong just as expensive shoes aren’t always right!
Your wardrobe should ideally contain different types of shoes, and us GP girls have put together a little guide for you!
- Party animals should go for style and comfort (Very important!). Buy shoes that are well co-ordinated with all your party outfits, so you may need many pairs! Make sure you wear your shoes before you walk into a party in them, that way you will be able to check their comfort level. Choose some pairs in basic colours like beige, black, tan and white, to match almost all your outfits. Then you can add stillettos, metallic colours and shoes encrusted with jewels make for eye-catching wear at those special glam night out parties!
- Exercise footwear be totally comfortable and fit for the job. Make sure your exercise shoes are well cushioned and it is always wise to go for known brands. If you need shoes for running or high impact aerobics you need good cushioned supportive trainers. If you want something for the gym then it needs to be well fitted but not necessarily cushioned.
- Everyday footwear should be simple, comfortable and elegant. See what goes with your wardrobe whether its flat pumps or low heeled boots, it’s entirely up to you!
- Work footwear should focus on comfort and sturdiness. Choose basic colours like beige, black, tan and white, to match almost all your outfits and make sure they are appropriate with any dress code you may have!
The perfect shoe will add to your comfort level, enhance your outfit and make a personality statement. So it’s worth investing a little time in picking the right shoe for the right occasion, in order to put your best foot forward!
