The humble T-shirt is often the mainstay item of a man’s wardrobe.They are like building blocks that you can do a multitude of things with, dressing them up or down depending on the occasion. The nautical T-shirt. Loved from New England to Europe, the nautical T-shirt successfully combines fashion and function. Whether he is down at the shore or chilling on a yacht, it will stand him in good stead. Long-sleeved or short, he will want to his in lightweight cotton, which can be thrown straight into the wash. Even if he doesn’t have a perfect physique, the horizontal stripes are some of the most flattering lines he’ll ever come across.
The sports T-shirt. So he can’t get away with wearing his favourite player’s top on a regular basis as it’s neither acceptable office wear nor particularly stylish, he can still show his love for the game at work by wearing a carefully chosen sports T-shirt.
The graphic T-shirt. These made a major impact on the T-shirt market when they first appeared and the graphic T-shirt remains a wardrobe must-have for stylish men. To be able to wear his graphic T-shirt with practically everything in your wardrobe, he wants to stick to a reasonably abstract pattern in plain colours.
The granddad T-shirt. Generally a short-sleeve T-shirt, the granddad T-shirt is reminiscent of those long-sleeve thermals that your man’s old man wore. Now they have been updated with a more flattering fit and you won’t be restricted to wearing them exclusively as an undergarment.
