Probably not as many as you but you may find one or two items lurking in his wardrobe.
If he is hiding a whole lot more then maybe he needs a few tips on where to cut back or if he has nothing maybe you would like to get him started. Like us women, men can use accessories to jazz up or change an outfit.
So here are GP’s top tips to accessorise your man.
Belts. He probably needs a couple of belts, one for his smart trousers / suit and one for his chinos and jeans. He should never wear the smart belt with his casual trousers or vice versa.
Ties and Tie Pins. You can really have fun with a tie collection, but you should keep up with the trends and styles. Try to avoid cartoon ties or polyester. Depending on whether he has to wear a tie for work or not, it’s safe to start with a few subtle coloured ties and maybe a slight pattern. It’s down to personal choice and what goes with the shirt. It’s also worth learning how to properly tie the thing properly! Tie pins, are again down to personal choice and may or may not match his cuff links!
Watches. If he only has one watch, make sure it’s a simple, classy watch that will match with anything. Avoid bells and whistles. He really shouldn’t buy a diving watch or a sports watch, unless he is a diving instructor or an athlete, in that case, buy a second watch!
Jewellery. This is really personal but apart from wearing a watch and the occasional pair of cuff links, jewellery should be kept to a minimum. Unless he is married, he should avoid rings if they want to remain classy. If he has a chain, keep it simple and only wear one.
